Akhil Sivanandan

Akhil Sivanandan has worked in a variety of roles in the corporate world since 2007. Akhil began their career as a Research Analyst at Frost & Sullivan, then moved to Datamonitor as an Analyst, Sustainability. In 2011, they enrolled in the MBA program at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, where they held various positions and graduated with a focus on General Management and Strategy. After completing their MBA, they joined Hydro One as a Business Analyst, Mergers and Acquisitions. Akhil then moved to the Ontario Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities as a Research Analyst, followed by a role as Program Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change. In 2016, they were appointed President and Chief Commercial Officer of Green Story, where they are responsible for setting the commercial direction of the company.

Akhil Sivanandan completed their MBA from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Tech in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli between 2003 and 2007. In March 2014, they obtained a GRI Certified Training Program on G4 Guidelines from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
