Prof. Dr. Subramanian Senthilkannan Muthu

Prof. Dr. Subramanian Senthilkannan Muthu holds a PhD in Environmental Life Cycle Assessment and has extensive experience in sustainability within the textiles and fashion sectors. Currently serving as Chief Sustainability Officer at Green Story and International Adjunct Faculty at KCG College of Technology, Muthu is also an Adjunct Professor at Vellore Institute of Technology and an individual verifier for Environmental Product Declarations with The International EPD System. Previous roles include Group Advisor for Sustainability at both API - Asia Pacific Inspection Ltd and SgT Group, where Muthu established sustainability departments and developed services for environmental assessments, chemical management, and product life cycle evaluations. Muthu has also held positions such as Sustainability Manager for a European retailer and International Chemical and Environmental Manager for a Danish clothing company, with a strong focus on chemical restrictions and sustainable practices. Educational background includes a PhD from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, complemented by master's and bachelor's degrees in Textile Technology.
