Sameer Patel

Sameer Patel has worked in a variety of roles since 1993. Sameer began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Manager, then moved to General Motors Investment Management Corporation (Performance Equity Management) as a Principal in the Private Markets Group. In 2001, they became the Director of International Private Equity at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, then moved to Oak Group as a Corporate Finance Specialist in 2011. In 2012, they were appointed CFO of Big White Wall, where they led the due diligence for a ($7m) Series A funding round and helped the company expand into the United States. In 2018, they were hired as the Director of Finance and Operations at Social Circle, a leading provider of influencer marketing campaigns in the UK. In 2021, they took on the roles of CFO of Green Story and Interim CFO of Sova Assessment.

Sameer Patel completed their MBA at London Business School from 1999 to 2001 and was an exchange student at Columbia Business School in 2000, studying Finance and Entrepreneurship. Sameer obtained their degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1989 to 1992. In 2020, they obtained the Alternative Investment Analyst Charter (CAIA Charter) from the CAIA Association, the MCSI from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI), and the ACA - Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
