Jared Brown

Jared Brown has over 12 years of work experience in various roles and industries. In 2008, they began their career as a Tax Intern at The Ayco Company, L.P. Jared then worked as a Financial Analyst Assistant at CapitalCare Medical Group in 2009. In 2010, they joined General Electric as an Accounting Analyst in Corporate Healthcare Finance and Accounting. In 2014, they were a Crew Lead - Solar Installation at NRG Home Solar. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Head of PV Design and Head of PV Installation at Kasselman Solar. In 2020, they were a Quality Specialist and Senior Quality Specialist at CS Energy, a Construction Superintendent at Onsite Solar, LLC., and a Business Owner at Elevate PV. Currently, they are a Construction Quality Manager at Green Street Power Partners, overseeing the engineering, permitting and construction of commercial/utility-scale solar PV projects.

Jared Brown completed a B.S. in Finance from Siena College in 2008. In 2004-2005, they attended Northeastern University for Business Administration and Management, General. Jared then attended University at Albany, SUNY for Economics from 2005-2006. In 2014, Jared obtained a Photovoltaics Systems Certificate from Hudson Valley Community College. In 2015, they received Professional Continuing Education in Solar Design & Installation from HeatSpring. In 2019, they completed Intermediate AutoCAD from Hudson Valley Community College.

Jared Brown also has a number of certifications. Jared is an Iron Ridge Certified Installer from IronRidge, obtained in December 2022. Jared also has CPR/AED/First Aid from the National Safety Council, obtained in March 2022. In January 2022, they obtained 70E - Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace from NFPA. In September 2021, they completed the Can Do Leadership Program from LEXINGTON LEADERSHIP PARTNERS. In December 2016, they obtained PV Installation Professional from NABCEP: North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners. Jared also has NABCEP 40HR SOLAR PHOTOVOLATAIC from ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board/ANAB, OSHA 10 HOUR CONSTRUCTION from OSHA, and OSHA 30 from OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ASSOCIATION LIMITED.
