Sydney Kohut

Sydney Kohut is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector with a strong focus on solar project feasibility and acquisitions. Currently serving as the Director of Acquisitions at Green Street Power Partners, responsibilities include underwriting, due diligence, and policy analysis related to solar projects. Prior experience includes a Summer Business Development Analyst role at Plankton Energy, where Sydney researched market policies and developed client databases, and multiple positions at Brooklyn SolarWorks that encompassed site surveying, inside sales, and community outreach. Sydney also contributed research efforts as a Policy Research Intern for a local county supervisor campaign and as a Media Research Intern for Human.NYC, alongside volunteer coordination efforts. Sydney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from New York University.
