Amara Koroma

Amara Koroma has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2006 with their role as an Administrative Assistant at SCR Medical Transportation, INC. Amara then moved on to become a Marketing Manager at Making A Scene Marketing & Events, and an Account Manager at Coca-Cola Refreshments in 2011. In 2012, they held two roles, Senior Event Sales Manager at Doubletree By Hilton Atlanta Buckhead and Senior Catering Manager at Chicago Marriott at Medical District/UIC. In 2015, Amara took on the role of Group Sales Manager at Westin Hotels & Resorts, followed by Group Sales Manager at Freehand Chicago in 2017. That same year, they also became a Destination Sales Executive - Chicago Marriott Downton Magnificent Mile at Marriott International. In 2018, they were a Senior Sales Manager at Crowne Plaza Chicago West Loop, and in 2021 they were a Sales Supervisor and Sales Representative at In Grown Farms. Currently, Amara is an Account Executive at Greentank Technologies.

Amara Koroma earned a Master of Arts in Hospitality and Food Management from Ball State University in 2011, after completing a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Ball State University - Miller College of Business in 2008.
