Ivan H.

Ivan H. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Ivan currently works at Green Thumb Industries (GTI) as the Manager of People Operations. Prior to this, they held roles as HRBP - Shared Services and HRBP - Retail at GTI.

Before joining GTI, Ivan worked at the University of Chicago as an HRBP for the Biological Sciences Division from 2020 to 2021.

From 2018 to 2020, Ivan worked at SIXT as the Sr. People Management Business Partner for the East Region and Shared Services. Ivan also held the role of Sr. People Management Business Partner for the East Region at SIXT.

At Marriott International, Ivan served as a Human Resources Manager from 2016 to 2018. Before that, they worked as an HR Generalist for NY, NJ, and CT, and as a Sr. HR Coordinator - Corporate at Equity Residential from 2014 to 2016.

Earlier in their career, Ivan worked as a Spanish Adjunct Instructor and T.A. at Florida Atlantic University from 2012 to 2014. Ivan also held the role of Human Resources Coordinator - Multi-property at Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina & Doubletree Bahia Mar from 2010 to 2012.

Ivan began their career at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. as an Installation Coordinator and Trainer for Latin America and the Caribbean from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they worked in the Front Office at The Ritz-Carlton from 2006 to 2008.

Ivan H.'s education history includes a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Spanish from Florida Atlantic University. Additionally, Ivan pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General at Inter-American University of Puerto Rico - Metropolitan Campus. Ivan's undergraduate education consists of a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Universidad de Puerto Rico, specializing in Languages with a focus on Italian and French.
