Owen Christman has a strong background in the fitness industry, with experience working in various roles at different companies. Owen began their career in 2007 as a Fitness Director and Certified Trainer at Odyssey Fitness Center, where they worked until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Coach at Birchwood Fitness. Owen then served as the Program Director at Move Better 570 from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, they joined ElmTree Wellness as a Fitness and Performance Trainer until 2020. Most recently, they have been employed at Green Thumb Industries (GTI) since 2020, starting as a Production Specialist and later progressing to the role of Quality and Compliance Technician. Owen is currently serving as a Lead Production Technician at GTI.
Owen Christman attended Penn State University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. In addition to their degree, Owen has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2005, they became a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). In 2011, Owen acquired certifications in Neuromuscular Stretching and Optimal Performance Training for Senior Clients, both from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). In 2012, they obtained a Level 2 Coach certification from MBSC Thrive and a Functional Movement Screen - FMS Level 1 certification from Functional Movement Systems. Most recently, in 2022, Owen received CPR & AED certification from the American Red Cross.
