Rob Guarino

Rob Guarino is the current Director of Tech Ops and Comms at Green Top Farms. Prior to their current position, Rob Guarino worked as a Senior Buyer at JackThreads from October 2011 to July 2018. During their time at JackThreads, Rob was responsible for managing all apparel and non-apparel categories across 85 Brands/1800 cc’s representing all of company revenue. Rob also assisted in the launch of the vertical namesake line which generated $15M in revenue in the first year. In addition, Rob grew the graphic tee category 400% in 3 months to generate $3M in revenue per year.

As Senior Buyer at JackThreads, Rob was also responsible for coordinating collaborative projects from concept to design and execution with industry Brand leaders. Rob executed weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to identify opportunities and minimize risks. Additionally, Rob negotiated pricing with brand partners and factories to deliver a 10 point improvement in product margin. Rob also led cross functional communication with all related departments including: production, design, planning, programming, fulfillment, photo studio, A/P, tech, customer service and executive management. Furthermore, Rob redeveloped backend and UX for product and purchase order creation; saving 45 work days per user per year. Rob actively participated in strategy, forecasting and line review meetings to understand seasonal business strategies and specific product initiatives. Lastly, they partnered with planning to quantify buys by category, monthly flow and revenue optimization. Throughout their time at JackThreads, Rob delivered a team-oriented attitude, taking on special projects to improve company productivity and efficiency.

Rob Guarino has a diploma in music engineering/production/business from SAE Institute and also studied audio engineering at Boces Technical Institute from 2003-2005.

Rob Guarino reports to Al Raddock, CEO. Richard Johnson - Communications Manager, Stephanie Kupiec - Financial Associate report to Rob Guarino. They work with Rebecca Kligerman - Marketing Lead, Michael Diviney - General Manager, and Emily Solomon - Executive Assistant.
