Danny Gold has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Danny founded and served as the President of Green Water and Power since 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Engineer at AECOM from 2011 to 2016. Danny also served as a Project Developer & Wind Analyst at OwnEnergy in 2010. Additionally, they worked in solar and wind engineering at European Energy A/S in 2009 and as a Mechanical Engineer at Siemens Wind Power in 2008. Danny also has experience as a Construction Manager at PowerLight Corp in 2007, where they supervised the construction of a solar PV power plant. Danny played a key role as a Product Development/Project Manager at India Power Company from 2004 to 2006, selecting renewable energy technologies for installation in India. Prior to that, they were a Photovoltaic Installer at Sun Light and Power in 2005. Danny started their career as an Assistant Process Engineer in the UC Berkeley Microfabrication Laboratory from 2003 to 2004, while pursuing their bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Danny Gold holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Danny later pursued an MSc in Wind Energy at the DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2007 to 2009. Apart from their formal education, Danny Gold has obtained various certifications in electrical contracting and licensing from different institutions and states, including New Jersey, New York City, Arizona, California, Nevada, South Carolina, and Texas.
