Hannah Brown

Hannah Brown, CPA, CFE has extensive work experience in accounting and finance. Hannah is currently working at Greenbacker Capital as the Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting, a role they started in January 2022. Before that, Hannah held the position of Technical Accounting Manager at Greenbacker Capital from April 2021 to January 2022. Prior to their time at Greenbacker Capital, Hannah worked as a Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting from August 2020 to April 2021.

Before joining Greenbacker Capital, Hannah worked at BDO USA, LLP where they held various positions. From August 2019 to August 2020, they served as an Experienced Manager - Accounting and Reporting Advisory Services. Prior to that, they held the position of National Assurance Manager - Accounting and Reporting Advisory Services from August 2018 to August 2019. Hannah started their career at BDO USA, LLP as a National Assurance Senior Associate - Accounting and Reporting Advisory Services from April 2016 to August 2018.

Hannah also gained experience at Draffin & Tucker, LLP as an Associate I from August 2015 to March 2016. Hannah worked as a Librarian at Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra from January 2013 to June 2015.

Additionally, Hannah has freelanced as a Violist from September 2011 to June 2015. Hannah also interned as a Staff Accountant at Novogradac & Company LLP from January 2014 to March 2014.

Hannah's early work experience includes being an Appel Service Center Student Supervisor at Cornell University from August 2010 to June 2011. Hannah also interned as a Community Relations Service Intern at the U.S. Department of Justice from June 2010 to August 2010.

Hannah Brown, CPA, CFE has a diverse education history. In 2003, they graduated from Mountain View High School. Hannah then attended Cornell University from 2008 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics, Music, and Law & Society. In 2007, they briefly attended the University of Chicago, but did not complete a degree or field of study. Finally, from 2012 to 2015, Hannah attended the Parker College of Business-Georgia Southern University, earning a Master of Accounting degree with a focus on Forensic Accounting.
