Debra Sydnor

Debra Sydnor, Esq. has a strong background in the legal industry. Debra is currently serving as the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Greenberg Traurig, LLP since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Alston & Bird for a significant duration. Debra joined the firm in September 1995 as an Associate and held the position until December 2003. Debra then advanced to become a Partner in January 2004 and continued in this role until June 2013.

Debra Sydnor, Esq. obtained a Doctor of Law (JD), cum laude from Howard University School of Law in the years 1992-1995. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware from 1987-1991, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, Debra has obtained various certifications, including one for Inclusive Leadership from LinkedIn in 2024, and a license to practice law in Georgia from the State Bar of Georgia in 1995.
