Thierry Benchetrit

Thierry Benchetrit has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Thierry is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer and Director of Digital at B:bot by GreenBig starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they founded Simulang in 2012, where they held the role of CEO/CTO. In this position, they developed serious games to enhance English communication skills for companies and employees.

From 2015 to 2021, Thierry worked as the Manager of the Software Development Center for the SI-Samu Program at Agence du Numérique en Santé. Thierry was responsible for this program's software development.

Between 2004 and 2011, Thierry served as the Vice President of Research & Development and IT at Auralog. Thierry managed a team of 85 people and focused on stabilizing and improving their language learning software.

Prior to Auralog, Thierry owned VE Consulting from 2003 to 2004, where they developed and patented SecYourData, a software allowing users to carry their Windows account on a USB key.

Before VE Consulting, Thierry worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Voxmobili from 2001 to 2003. Thierry supervised a team of 25 engineers and oversaw the development of PIM and synchronization servers for major telecom operators.

Thierry also held the position of CTO at Procar.com from 2000 to 2001, where they developed a platform connecting customers with used car resellers.

Thierry began their career at Bristol-Myers Squibb in 1992 as an IT Manager, where they managed various IT projects and eventually became involved in internet projects and the Y2K bug project.

Thierry'searlier experience includes working as the Molecular Modeling Manager at UPSA from 1989 to 1992, where they implemented computer-assisted drug design technology and trained chemists in its usage.

Thierry Benchetrit's education history begins with their enrollment at Lycée Louis Le Grand from 1979 to 1982, where they pursued their studies in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. After completing their prepatory classes, they attended École Polytechnique from 1982 to 1985, earning a degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Management. Following this, they pursued higher education at Université Paris Cité from 1985 to 1989, where they focused on Neurobiology and Molecular Modelling, although they did not graduate with a DEA or PhD. More recently, in 2012 and 2013, Thierry attended HEC Paris and completed the Challenge+ program in Entrepreneurship within Innovation.

Additionally, Thierry Benchetrit holds several certifications, including being a Certified COSMIC at Foundation Level from the COSMIC Common Software Measurement International Consortium, obtained in February 2021. Thierry also obtained the SAFe® 4 Certified Release Train Engineer certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2018, and the SAFe 4.0 Agilist certification from the Scaled Agile Academy in May 2016.
