Carolyn McDermott

Carolyn McDermott is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, healthcare administration, and fitness instruction. Currently serving as a Makerspace Specialist at Greene County Public Library since September 2019, Carolyn provides educational support in design, software usage, and equipment operation to library patrons. At Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, Carolyn has been a Senior Trainer and involved in program development since November 2003, focusing on course planning and reporting analytics. Previous roles include Pilates and Yoga Instructor at Pilates for Health, Business Administrator at Wright State Physicians, Inc., and Executive Director at Dayton VA Research and Education Foundation. Carolyn holds a Master's in Healthcare Administration from Ohio University, a Bachelor's in Human Physiology & Biology from Wright State University, and an Associate's degree in Design and Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
