Jessie Heemskerk

Jessie Heemskerk is a sustainability and climate consultant at Greener Company, specializing in helping SMEs and large enterprises in the food, beverage, construction, and chemical industries achieve sustainable practices. With a background as a member of the General Water Board for Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard, Jessie has experience in corporate governance. Previously, Jessie worked as a freelance sustainability consultant, developing circular economy models and managing award-winning CSR reports. Jessie also served as a sustainability consultant at KPMG, where sustainability assurance engagements were conducted across various sectors globally. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Water: Science & Governance from King's College London, a summer program at Harvard University focused on sustainability management strategies, and a B.A. in International Relations and International Organisation from the University of Groningen.
