Kirsten Taylor has had a varied and extensive career in the health and wellness industry. Kirsten began their career in 2002 as the Managing Director of New Zealand Health Shop Limited. In 2010, they became a Naturopathic Technical Consultant, Formulator, and Board Member for Nature Star. In 2011, they were hired as a Specialist Trainer Manager for Vitaco Health Limited. In 2015, they joined The Auckland Chamber of Commerce as a Member of the Board of Directors. In 2017, they were appointed as a Trustee of the Auckland Santa Parade Trust. In 2021, they were appointed as a Non Executive Director of Greenfern Industries. In 2009, they founded SleepDrops International Limited, where they served as Chief Executive Officer until Jan 2014. During their tenure, SleepDrops became the number one selling brand in the sleep category (pharmacy and health stores) with the number one selling adults, kids, and baby sleep products in New Zealand.

Kirsten Taylor began their educational journey at Epsom Girls Grammar School in Auckland, where they attended high school from 1988 to 1992. Kirsten was then awarded a bursary and English scholarship to Auckland University. In 2000, they graduated from Wellpark College of Natural Therapies with Diploma's of Naturopathy (honours), Medical Herbalism, and Nutrition. Kirsten is currently enrolled in a Post Graduate Tier 1 program at World Sleep Academy, studying Sleep Medicine.
