Marty Summa Jr. has a strong background in digital media, social strategy, and marketing. Marty started their career at the University of Connecticut as an Athletic Marketing Intern, where they gained experience in marketing and promotion. Marty then moved on to the University of Maryland, where they worked their way up from an Athletic Marketing Assistant to the Senior Director of Social/Digital Media & Branding. In this role, they oversaw all digital and social efforts for Maryland Athletics, managed a large budget for innovative campaigns, and won awards for their creative and unique marketing campaigns. Marty also established the digital marketing unit within the university's athletic department and implemented successful marketing automation strategies. Most recently, they worked as the Director of Digital Media & Social Strategy at Sage Growth Partners, where they developed and implemented diverse campaigns to drive client KPIs and increase brand awareness. Marty also managed a digital and analytics team and partnered with senior management to secure new clients. Currently, they are working as a Customer Success member at Greenfly.

Marty Summa Jr graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management. In addition to their formal education, Marty has obtained several certifications in the field of digital marketing. In 2022, they obtained certifications in Advertising on LinkedIn, Basic Programmatic Certification, Connected TV Channel Certification, Advertising on Instagram, Influencer Marketing, and Digital Marketing Foundations.
