Kate Hooker has over 15 years of work experience in various legal and writing roles. Kate started their career as an Intern at the India Centre for Human Rights & Law, where they researched legal issues and contributed to a comprehensive report. Kate then worked as a Staff member for Bill Bradley's presidential campaign, managing travel schedules and preparing reports for the FEC. Kate went on to become an Associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham and Taft LLP, where they performed legal research, drafted documents, and managed large-scale ediscovery. Kate received Certificates of Excellence for their pro bono work during their time at the firm. After that, Kate worked as a Legal Aid Intern at the New York University School of Law Juvenile Rights Clinic, providing legal aid to disadvantaged youth. Kate then joined Bloomberg LP as a Legal Analyst/Editorial, and later became a Corporate Counsel.
