Melissa Brand has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Melissa began their career in 2006 as an Extended Care Aide at St. Theresa Catholic School. In 2007, they worked as a Sales Associate at Apricot Lane Boutique until 2009. During this time, they also took on roles at Saint Mary's College of California, first as a Receptionist for the Hearst Art Gallery and later as the Coordinator of Summer Camps. Then, from 2012 to 2013, Melissa served as an Activities Staff member at Tahoe Beach and Ski Club and as a Venue/Host Executive at Free Holdings. In 2014, they joined Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation, where they held positions such as Marketing Concierge, Activities Coordinator, and Concierge until 2017. In 2018, Melissa worked as a Content and Customer Support Specialist at Light. Melissa then moved on to Greenhouse Software, starting as a Customer Support Specialist in 2019 and progressing to the role of Senior Support Specialist in 2021. Currently, Melissa is a Support Operations Specialist at Greenhouse Software.

Melissa Brand attended Saint Mary's College of California from 2007 to 2011. Melissa graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In 2009, they studied abroad for a semester at John Cabot University, where they focused on English and Art History.
