Katie Letheren

Katie Letheren has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Katie has held positions such as Director of Strategic Projects at GreenLight Biosciences, Inc., where they currently work. Prior to that, they co-founded Educate West Point - EWP Liberia in 2017. Katie has also worked at Partners In Health, where they served as Deputy Director of MA COVID Response, Deputy Director of Operations for MA COVID Contact Tracing, and Interim Director of Operations in Lesotho. Katie has experience in the healthcare sector, having been the Director of Campus Operations & Community Engagement at the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda, as well as a Clinical Operations Officer in Liberia. Katie has also worked in emergency medical coordination for Lighthouse Relief in Greece and served as the Lifeline Clinic Manager at N/a'an ku se Foundation. In addition, they have experience in communications and grant writing as the Communications Manager/Grant Writer at Angkor Hospital for Children. Earlier in their career, Katie worked as a Client Service Manager at Elite Investment Group, focusing on customer service and portfolio supervision.

Katie Letheren has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from New York University, obtained between 2008 and 2010. Katie also attended Union College from 2006 to 2008, where they studied Political Science. In 2019, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Development with a focus on Global Health from The University of Edinburgh.
