Ken Narva has a diverse range of work experience in the field of biotechnology and entomology. Ken has held various research and leadership roles in companies such as GreenLight Biosciences, Corteva Agriscience™, Dow AgroSciences, The Dow Chemical Company, Mycogen Corporation, and American Cyanamid. Throughout their career, Narva has focused on developing insect resistance traits and biotech input traits for different crops, particularly corn and soybeans. Ken has also been involved in regulatory science and product safety evaluations. Narva's expertise in molecular biology and gene discovery has contributed to the development of novel insecticidal proteins for biopesticides and transgenic crops.
Ken Narva received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Central Michigan University, where they studied from 1976 to 1980. Ken then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology at Louisiana State University from 1980 to 1985.
