Stephen Kaba

Stephen Kaba has a diverse background in scientific research and leadership roles in the field of microbiology, immunology, and vaccine development. Stephen has held positions such as Director of mRNA-based Antigen Design at GreenLight Biosciences, Microbiologist/Principal Investigator at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation, Scientific Director at Naval Medical Research Center, and Post-Doctoral Fellow at National Research Council/Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Their experience includes guiding research projects, mentoring junior staff, and spearheading pre-clinical research strategies to advance vaccine development against various diseases.

Stephen Kaba holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture, Animal Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi (1990-1994), and a Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology (Plant and Microbial Production) from Wageningen University & Research (1996-1998). Stephen also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Virology/Vaccine Development from Wageningen University & Research. Additionally, they have certifications in "Creating Presence" from Karen Carter-Harvey and "Mastering Common Interview Questions" from LinkedIn, both obtained in 2018.
