John Duncan

Director of Manufacturing Engineering & Quality Assurance at Greenlight Optics

John Duncan has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. John started their career as a Kauffman Entrepreneur Intern at Progressive Products Inc. in 1996. John then had a summer internship at US Precision Lens in 1997 and an internship at Boeing Commercial Airplanes in 1998. John joined 3M in 1999 and held positions such as Product Engineer and Manufacturing Technology Development Supervisor. At 3M, they led a team of engineers to develop manufacturing technology for the micro projector business and worked on improving the quality and efficiency of plastic optic and assembly product lines. In 2009, they joined Evenflo, Inc. as a Sr. Product Integrity Engineer, responsible for ensuring the safety standards of juvenile products. Since 2011, John has been working at Greenlight Optics, LLC as the Director of Manufacturing Engineering & Quality Assurance.

John Duncan has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Plastics Engineering Technology from Pittsburg State University, which they obtained between the years 1994 and 1998. Later, between 2004 and 2006, they attended Xavier University and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business and Entrepreneurship. In addition to their degrees, John Duncan also holds a certification as an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer from ASQ - World Headquarters, which they obtained in the year 2000.
