Laura Kimmey Nix

Laura Kimmey Nix is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Director of People Partners at Greenlight since March 2021, following a role as Senior People Partner. Prior to Greenlight, Laura held senior HR positions at CNN from June 2016 to March 2021, including Senior Human Resources Business Partner and Human Resources Business Partner. Previous experience includes serving as an HR Specialist at Carter's | OshKosh B'gosh from July 2013 to May 2016, and as a Hiring Coordinator at Grant Thornton LLP for a brief period in 2013. Laura began their career as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta from November 2011 to April 2013. Academic qualifications include a BBA in Management with a focus on Public Relations from Mercer University, completed between 2005 and 2008, along with studies at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2004 to 2005.
