Hanif Contractor

Hanif Contractor is a highly experienced civil engineer with a focus on construction inspection and project management. Currently serving as Chief Inspector and Assistant Resident Engineer at GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. since January 2015, Hanif performs detailed inspections for the Battery Park Underpass and West Street Underpass tunnels. Prior experience includes a tenure at AECOM from 2000 to 2015, where roles varied from Senior Construction Inspector to Senior Inspector, overseeing significant projects such as the New Jersey Turnpike construction and Williamsburg Bridge rehabilitation. Hanif's career also spans work with STV, Shah Associates Consulting Engineering, and various other organizations, encompassing expertise in concrete pavement, drainage systems, and structural inspections. Educationally, Hanif holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from MS University in Vadodara, India.
