Rob McCleary

Rob McCleary is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in transportation infrastructure management and improvement. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Director of Engineering at GPI/Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. since September 2019, Rob oversees design operations across Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. Previously, as Chief Engineer at the Delaware Department of Transportation from October 2013 to June 2019, Rob directed a 450-person division focused on enhancing mobility, safety, and environmental sustainability in Delaware's transportation network. Rob's career includes roles such as Assistant Director of Engineering Support for the State of Delaware and Civil & Environmental Engineer at Delaware DNREC. Rob began professional endeavors as a Civil Engineer at Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP. Educationally, Rob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware.
