Lorena Marabotto Chouza has a diverse work experience. Lorena began their career in 2008 as a Contact Center Agent for Telvista Inc., where they performed a variety of roles with a focus on customer satisfaction. In 2014, they became a Renewable Energy Project Developer Intern for ACESA, where they developed a PV system proposal for a commercial business and assisted with research, translation, and project presentations. Later that year, they became a Volunteer: Construction Intern for GRID Alternatives, where they assisted with construction, system design, permitting, and data entry. In 2015, they became a PV Design Engineering Supervisor for Teloro S.A. de C.V. (Oficial), where they implemented best practices for designing and pricing PV proposals and oversaw projects, identified highlights, and troubleshot deadlines. In 2017, they became the General Manager for B.A.B., where they led interdepartmental communication and processes. Finally, in 2018, they became the Director of Operations for GreenPACE Capital, where they were responsible for day-to-day interactions and business processes, as well as developing and implementing strategies, processes, and automated workflows. In 2021, they became the Director of Operations for GreenDay Finance.

Lorena Marabotto Chouza obtained their Engineering in Renewable Energies degree from UTT Tijuana in 2017, with a field of study in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law. Prior to that, they obtained a TSU Energías Renovables área solar degree from UTT Tijuana in 2014, with a field of study in Solar Energy Technology/Technician. Lorena also attended Preparatoria Federal Lázaro Cárdenas (PFLC) from 2005 to 2008, studying Physics. In addition, they obtained a BULATS certification from ALTE (Assosiation of Language Testing in Europe) in 2016, as well as a CPR and First Aid Training certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in 2015.
