Joyce Gatera

Joyce Gatera is an accomplished digital campaigner with extensive experience in online engagement and content creation, currently working at Greenpeace since October 2021. Prior experience includes a global visiting internship at the Global Green Growth Institute, where contributions were made to the Rwanda Greenpreneurs Network project, and a role as a digital media intern at Greenpeace, focusing on social media content production. Additional background includes positions as a cultural mediator at Phi Centre, content writer at Pickering Communications and The Mob's Press, and a marketing and communications intern at Agence Ometz. Joyce Gatera is pursuing a Master’s degree in Environment and Sustainable Development at Université de Montréal, having previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Concordia University and a College Diploma in Social Sciences from Cégep Heritage College.
