Thomas Breuer

Thomas Breuer has extensive experience in both environmental advocacy and finance. Since August 2008, Thomas has served as the Head of the climate- and energy team at Greenpeace e.V., where responsibilities include strategic development of climate and energy campaigns, issue development, and human resources management. Prior to this role, from January 2004 to July 2008, Thomas worked as an anti-nuclear campaigner for Greenpeace Germany, engaging in campaigns in Germany, France, and India, and also served as a radiation protection adviser for Greenpeace International. Earlier career experiences include positions at DWS Investments GmbH as a Director and Fund Manager, Deutsche Bank AG in portfolio management, and Deutsche Bank Capital Corporation in research and trading. Thomas holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Applied Science for Economy in Aachen and was trained as a Bankkaufmann at Deutsche Bank AG.
