A.K. Chatterjee has worked as the Head HR & IR at Greenply Plywood since November 2022. Prior to that, Chatterjee was a Sr.Manager (HR & A) at Scooters India Limited from May 2009 to April 2021. Chatterjee also worked as a Sr. Manager HR at Scooters India Limited from May 2009 to May 2009. Before joining Scooters India Limited, Chatterjee was the HR Manager at M/s Equiplus India Pvt Ltd Kanpur from March 2007 to April 2009. Chatterjee's earliest work experience was as an Assistant Manager (HR) at Organic India Pvt.Ltd. from August 2003 to February 2007. Throughout their career, Chatterjee has gained expertise in HR processes, administration, performance management, training & development, welfare, team management, liaison, organizational development, employee relations & statutory compliance in the manufacturing and service industry.

A.K. Chatterjee completed their intermediate education at K.P. Inter College Allahabad from 1986 to 1989. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature and Economics at Allahabad University from 1986 to 1989. Later, from 1991 to 1993, they attended Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management at Allahabad University, specializing in Lal Bahadur Sastri Institute of Management & Development Studies.
