Diana Smirnov

Diana V. Smirnov serves as the General Counsel at GreenPoint Partners since July 2023, following a distinguished tenure at Blackstone from September 2019 to August 2023, where roles included Senior Vice President, Vice President, and Consultant. Diana co-founded WRE: Women in Real Estate, a networking organization aimed at supporting women in the real estate sector through mentorship and empowerment, operating from March 2017 to July 2023. Previously, Diana worked as a Real Estate Associate Attorney at Fried Frank from June 2014 to September 2020 and had a secondee placement at Brookfield Asset Management in 2018. Diana started legal career at Hunton & Williams LLP as a Capital Finance and Real Estate Associate from August 2012 to May 2014 and interned at the US Securities and Exchange Commission in early 2011. Diana holds a JD with Honors from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
