Matthew Kraft has an extensive work experience in law enforcement. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Crime Abatement Officer for the Greensboro Police Department, where they focused on proactively preventing crime and served on a specialized unit that conducted surveillance and SWAT operations. Matthew then transitioned to the role of Property Crimes Investigator, investigating various property crimes and serving on the Triad Retail Theft Task Force. In 2003, Matthew also took on the responsibility of Off-Duty Coordinator, managing an off-duty contract for the Greensboro Grasshoppers baseball team and overseeing on-site police operations. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as a full-time Fraud and Financial Crimes Detective, successfully investigating and prosecuting a wide range of fraud cases. In 2012, Matthew became a Digital Forensics Investigator, responsible for overseeing the digital forensics lab and utilizing various forensic tools. Alongside their investigative roles, they have also served as an Assistant Director for the Membership and Property Safety Team at the Greensboro Country Club since 2004, ensuring the safety and security of the club facilities and its members. Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated their ability to increase productivity, efficiency, and successful outcomes in their roles.
Matthew Kraft attended Lenoir-Rhyne University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
