Western Region Director, Growth & Client Service, Insurance at GreenShield

Sarah Arsenault, CEBS has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Sarah is currently working as the Western Region Director of Growth & Client Service, Insurance at Green Shield Canada (GSC), where they focus on growing the GSC western block of business and seeking out new business development opportunities. Sarah collaborates with their team to manage the western book of business and ensure clients' needs are consistently met. Prior to GSC, Sarah worked at Pacific Blue Cross as an Account Executive, where they were responsible for new business sales and overall client management. Sarah also worked as a Group Marketing Manager at Equitable Life, where they had similar responsibilities. Sarah started their career at Green Shield Canada as a Client Service Representative and later progressed to the role of Senior Account Executive. In all their roles, Sarah worked towards meeting sales targets, developed relationships with brokers and consultants, and provided exceptional customer service.

Sarah Arsenault, CEBS has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained from 2000 to 2007. Sarah also completed a Management Skills Certificate program at Langara College in 2017. Sarah has additional certifications, including a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) in 2021. Furthermore, they hold a Group Benefits Associate (GBA) degree from IFEBP, obtained in 2013. Sarah has also obtained certifications such as ISCEBS Gold Member Canada 2024 from the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists and a Life Insurance License (LLQP) from the Insurance Council of BC in 2021.
