Nicholas Payne

Nicholas Payne has a comprehensive work experience in various roles. Nicholas worked at GreenSky as the Vice President - Home Improvement Credit Strategy, starting in February 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director - Credit Strategy from October 2018 to February 2021, and as the Manager - Credit Strategy for a brief period from April 2018 to October 2018. Before their managerial roles, they gained experience as a Senior Business Analyst - Credit Strategy, where they utilized decision tree learning methods and credit bureau data to segment loan applications and develop credit policies. Additionally, they were responsible for generating reports and leading critical evaluations of strategies. Before joining GreenSky, Nicholas worked at the University of Georgia as a Graduate Research Assistant from May 2014 to December 2015. Nicholas also gained finance and accounting experience as an intern at KMBBC from August 2013 to December 2013. Furthermore, they served as a Peer Tutor at Middle Georgia State University from January 2013 to December 2013.

Nicholas Payne completed a Master of Science degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics at The University of Georgia from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Information Technology with a focus on Accounting and a minor in Mathematics from Middle Georgia State University.
