Andy Jones

Andy is a Venture Partner at Greenspring Associates. Andy has nearly 20 years of experience in the venture capital industry. Previously, he was the Managing Director of the Maryland Venture Fund and prior to that a General Partner for Boulder Ventures. He started his venture career at Grotech Ventures. Andy built a software business from the ground up, raising 3 rounds of venture capital from Sigma Partners and Baird Capital. He built that business to 220 employees and ultimately sold it to a large PE firm, yielding his venture investors a 3x return on their entire investment. Andy has also run M&A for a large public company – Kingspan, an $8 billion market cap company. Andy received his MBA from the University of Chicago, and BS and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
