Laura Gaviria Halaby is a seasoned venture partner with extensive experience in business development, fundraising, and scaling across various sectors. Currently serving as a venture partner at Mercury and Outliers Venture Capital since late 2024, and as an investor/advisor at Apatat since 2015, Laura has a strong track record in guiding companies and VC funds. Significant past roles include working as an Operating Director at SoftBank Investment Advisers, where Laura contributed to the launch of a US$8 billion Latin America fund and led innovative initiatives to support portfolio companies in disruptive technologies.
