Kimberly Brunner began their career in 1990 as a Senior Manager at McGladrey & Pullen. Kimberly worked there until 2004. In 2004, they joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager. Kimberly worked there until 2011 when they became an independent contractor and worked as a CPA. In 2013, Brunner joined AgriBank as an Assistant Controller/Director of Financial Reporting & Analysis. In 2018, they became the VP of Enterprise Risk Management and later served as the Interim Chief Risk Officer. Kimberly remained with AgriBank until 2019 when they joined GreenStone Farm Credit Services. At GreenStone Farm Credit Services, Brunner first took on the role of SVP of Finance and Operations and later became the EVP and Chief Financial Officer.
Kimberly Brunner completed their undergraduate education at the University of Northern Iowa from 1986 to 1990. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Accounting.
