David Yan

David Yan has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Ramp Agent for Swissport. In 2016, they began working as a Technical Support for Visiontek, where they visited mapping companies in Eastern China, demonstrated company software, and designed aerial mapping solutions. In 2018, they became a Product Manager for CHC Navigation, where they were responsible for UAV products and identified the needs of end-users. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Sales Manager for Tersus GNSS Inc., where they were responsible for the development of the GNSS market. Currently, they are an International Sales Manager for GreenValley International, where they help customers be successful and represents the company to expand the overseas market.

David Yan has a diverse educational background. From 2009 to 2013, they attended Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. David then attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a Diploma in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Photogrammetric Technologists from the Wuhan Human Services Center in February 2018, a Class 5 Drivers License from Manitoba Public Insurance in August 2016, a Certificate of Air Transportation of Dangerous Goods from Swissport in March 2016, and UAV Ground School Training from Harv's Air.
