Debbie Hemmens

Debbie Hemmens currently serves as President and Director of Operations at Lev Senior Living, a role held since March 2015. Prior to this, Debbie Hemmens contributed to Chartwell Retirement Residences as Regional Manager for Lifestyle & Programs in Quebec and Eastern Ontario, Acting National Director of Life Enrichment, and General Manager from September 2010 to July 2014. Previous experience includes positions as General Manager at Shannex Incorporated (June 2007 - March 2010) and at Crescent Gardens Retirement Community Chartwell Retirement Residences (May 2003 - July 2007) as both Marketing Manager and Recreation Manager. Debbie Hemmens began their career as Regional Program Director for Youth & Young Adults at The United Church of Canada from June 1991 to June 2003. Educational credentials include a BA with a specialization in Leisure Studies (Recreation) from Concordia University, completed between 1987 and 1990.
