Ali Essop

Ali Essop is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in project development and energy management. Currently serving as a Solar PV and EE Project Developer at GreenYellow since May 2022, Ali previously held roles as a Senior Energy Analyst and Project Manager at Energy Partners, where responsibilities included energy data processing and optimization. Prior to that, Ali worked as a Production Engineer at Nissan Motor Corporation, focusing on production planning and inventory control, and served as a Mechanical Engineer in the Aftersales Technical Centre. Additional experience includes product development engineering at Resolution Circle and mechanical engineering projects at Mott MacDonald PDNA. Ali holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and has completed advanced Microsoft Excel training.
