Anoeska Huige

Anoeska Huige is an accomplished designer, illustrator, modelmaker, and animator with a strong focus on interactive media for children. Since February 2023, Anoeska has served as a docent in animation at Mediacollege Amsterdam. Concurrently, Anoeska has been a guest lecturer in stop-motion animation at ArtEZ University of the Arts since November 2021. The role of Artistic Director at De Animatiebus has been held since September 2016, while also functioning as a Creative Director at Studio Stroom since 1999. Anoeska is the founder of a self-employed venture as an illustrator, designer, and educator since January 1999. Notable contributions include workshop facilitation for the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) since 2017, as well as extensive freelance work with Greetz for greeting card designs and with Zwijsen on children's software programs. Anoeska's educational background includes studies at the School of Visual Arts and Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam.
