Linda Lynch is a council member at Greif. Linda was previously the director of global shared services at Xylem Inc. from January 2011 to December 2017. In this role, they managed the US and Poland shared services locations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, fiscal reporting, statutory accounting, fixed assets, travel and expense, credit card programs, cash management, continuous improvement, and intercompany transactions. Linda had seven direct reports and a total staff of more than 170.

Lynch was responsible for establishing, designing and recruiting for the US shared service organization as a result of the spin-off from ITT. Linda created the foundation for goal driven, transparent, open communication culture and adapted strategies, policies and standards as appropriate to achieve a high-performance organization. Additionally, they selected, designed and implemented Oracle as the new financial system for the shared services organization utilizing leading practices for the future state that impacted cost, standardization and sustainability.

Over the course of their tenure at Xylem Inc., Lynch led the location and site assessment, design, build, set-up and deployment of the new shared services location in Poland which impacted a reduction in labor cost. In less than one year, they recruited more than 80 employees who served 14 European countries using 10 languages. Additionally, they achieved process improvements in excess of 10% per year through the development of efficiency gains by applying various lean and continuous improvement tools. Linda Lynch has a MBA in Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School and a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Kent State University.
