Dan Muret

Dan Muret has worked in the tech industry since 1994, beginning as a Support Technician for Sykes Enterprises, Inc. Dan then worked as a Systems Engineer for Premiere Consulting from 1997 to 1994, where they deployed system management software, Microsoft Exchange administration, implemented electronic medical records systems using Cerner software, and implemented a Kodak digital medical imaging system (digital xrays). In 2005, they joined Chesapeake Energy as a Sr. System Administrator, where they designed, built, implemented and supported Tivoli Storage Manager (Spectrum Protect) environment supporting backup and recovery of 2.5 PB of data, and designed and implemented the first in enterprise VMWare environment, which vitalized over 2000 servers. From 2013 to 2020, they worked at IBM as a Storage and Software Defined Storage Specialist, acting as the point of contact and trusted advisor to clients. In 2020, they joined Veeam Software as an Enterprise System Engineer, and in 2021 they joined Kasten as a Sr. Systems Engineer. Dan is currently employed at Replicated and Gremlin, where they serve as a Solutions Architect and Sr. Solutions Architect, respectively.

Dan Muret attended Oklahoma State University, where they studied Electronic Engineering Technology. Dan has also obtained several certifications, including Veeam Certified Engineer 2020 (VMCE 2020) from Veeam Software in December 2020, ZCP: Azure 8.0 from Zerto in April 2020, ZCP: Sales from Zerto in March 2020, and ZCP: Enterprise Engineer 8.0 from Zerto.
