Rocío Fernández Flores

Rockie C. is a seasoned program manager with extensive experience in the biotech sector, currently employed at Lonza since March 2023, leading multidisciplinary project teams in the clinical manufacturing of biologics and fostering global collaborations. Previously, Rockie served as a Senior Scientist and Program Lead at CareDx, Inc., overseeing the development of genomics-based diagnostics and contributing to significant research through a first-author publication on immune quiescence in kidney transplant recipients. Experience also includes roles at Senti Biosciences as a Senior Scientist and Technical Lead in gene therapy collaborations with Roche, alongside a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles, and an internship at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures. Rockie holds a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
