Peter Bejarano

Peter Bejarano is the current Director of Accounting at Gresham-Barlow School District 10J. Prior to their current position, they worked as an Audit Manager at Pauly Rogers & Co from July 2015 to December 2019. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing approximately 60 financial audits of entities using GAAP, including single audit (A-133, Uniform Guidance) work for expenditures of federal awards. Peter also created financial statements and CAFR reports for entities based on raw trial balance data from various accounting software platforms.

In January 2015 to March 2015, they worked as an Internal Auditor at the American Red Cross. In this role, they were responsible for auditing the organization's financial statements and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. Peter also advised management on ways to improve internal controls and reduce financial risks.

Peter Bejarano obtained a post-bac certificate in accounting from Portland State University. Peter then went on to get their Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and theatre with an emphasis in sound design from UC San Diego. Lastly, they attended University of California, Santa Cruz.
