Andrea Elias

Andrea Elias has a strong background in the merchandising and design industries. Andrea is currently working as the Vice President of Merchandising at Grey Matter Concepts since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of VP of Design & Product Merchandising at the same company from March 2022 to January 2023. Additionally, they served as the VP of Sales and Merchandising for Walmart from March 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining Grey Matter Concepts, Andrea worked as the Vice President of Merchandising from March 2020 to March 2021, where they were responsible for creating plans for new product promotions, coordinating merchandise planning with the marketing department and executives, and developing product marketing strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis.

Prior to their role as Vice President of Merchandising, Andrea was the VP of Ladies Sportswear and Basics at Grey Matter Concepts from February 2016 to March 2020. Andrea also gained experience as a Senior Designer at the company from July 2009 to February 2016.

Earlier in their career, Andrea worked as an Associate Merchandiser at MSJC Direct in 2009, and as a Designer at Castlewood Apparel from November 2007 to February 2009, where they worked with brands such as Avia and Nevados. Andrea also worked as a Licensing/ Assistant Designer at Outerstuff, Ltd from 2004 to 2007, focusing on children's apparel.

Andrea Elias has demonstrated consistent growth and expertise in the field of merchandising and design throughout their career, with a strong focus on trend analysis, product development, and customer research.

Andrea Elias obtained their Regents Diploma from Susan Wagner High School between 1999 and 2003. Andrea then pursued their Associates of Design degree in Womenswear from Wood tobe coburn school from 2003 to 2004.
