Kyle Scharf is a process engineer at Greystone, Inc. since July 2021, specializing in electrochemical plating. Prior experience includes roles at Warm Hearth Village as a bistro attendant, responsible for managing dietary requirements for over 50 assisted living patients, and as a lifeguard for the City of Virginia Beach. Kyle has also served as a lead intern at Universal Fibers, Inc., where oversight of an intern team focused on optimizing extruder design and researching thermoplastics. Additional internships include leading a team at CODE CORPORATION to enhance the properties of thermoplastics used in hand scanner casings. Early work experience comprises roles as a farm hand at Graceland Farms and a lead instructor at The Little Gym International, Inc., where leadership and safety of young children were paramount. Kyle earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2021.
