Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010, focusing on the development of hardware for Digital Vision Touch interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior experience includes roles as a firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and teaching assistant positions at the University of Calgary. Earlier career highlights include work as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, specializing in control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
