Julie Dubien

Director Talent and Culture at GRICS

Julie Dubien has a diverse work experience in talent and culture management, HR and organizational development consulting, and leadership roles in training, organizational development, and communications. Julie'smost recent position was as the Director of Talent and Culture at GRICS since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an HR and Organizational Development Consultant and as the Director of Training, Organizational Development, and Communications at Groupe Lou-Tec Inc. In addition, they served as the Practice Leader of Organizational Development at the National Film Board of Canada from 2016 to 2020 and as a Corporate Advisor of Organizational Development from 2012 to 2016 at the same organization. Before that, they worked as an Organizational Effectiveness Consultant at ALIA CONSEIL and as an Organizational Development Consultant at FORMULE J. Julie also gained experience as a Human Resources Manager at the University Health Network and as a Human Resources Director and Manager at Intact. Julie started their career as a Director of Human Resources and Administrative Services, Human Resources Manager, and Human Resources Supervisor at Jesta I.S.

Julie Dubien has a Master's degree in Adult Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from the Université de Montréal, completing their studies from 1991 to 1993. In addition, they hold a Certificate in Law from the Université de Montréal, which they obtained from 1989 to 1991. Julie Dubien also has additional certifications as a Certified Instructor in Crucial Conversations and Influencer from Crucial Learning, which they obtained in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
