Vanessa Bernal

Vanessa Bernal is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in outreach and community engagement centered on social equity and environmental sustainability. Currently serving as a Senior Outreach Coordinator at GRID Alternatives since November 2022, Vanessa focuses on creating equitable access to renewable energy and green job workforce training. Prior to this role, experience includes serving as a Programs Outreach Representative and SNAP Outreach Representative at Food Bank of the Rockies, where Vanessa connected communities to resources to combat food insecurity. Additionally, Vanessa contributed as a Home Energy Specialist/Water Programs Assistant at Groundwork Denver, conducting audits and installations for vulnerable residents. Educationally, Vanessa is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial and Product Design at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
